TCC Learning
TCC Learning is the organisation which delivers the TCC Consultancy-Users
Workshop and the TCC Consultancy-Users Masterclass

It is a subsidiary of The Consultant Connection Ltd and is dedicated to
delivering niche career development in working with external service
providers.  It engages only specialist practitioners to deliver Workshops – it
does not use general presenters and facilitators – and all of its content is
developed and maintained by the specialist practitioners.  TCC has valuable
business clients across many sectors including central and local government,
consulting, investment banking, outsourcing, insurance, life sciences, third
sector and pharmaceuticals.

The Masterclass for senior managers and executives is intensive and short,
and therefore suitable for top managers.  

This Workshop is designed for staff who expect to work with consultants in
projects and workstreams and who want to learn consulting behaviours and
methodologies.   

Ian Castle and Bill Young created the TCC Consultancy-Users Masterclass in
2004 for private and public sector clients.  It is designed to show senior
managers and executives the hazards that are created when external
consultants join an organisation.  It is enthusiastically praised by all delegates
and is mandated training in a major department of British government.
 


Ian Castle

Ian Castle is a managing director of The Consultant Connection (TCC) and he
is one of two facilitators who deliver this Workshop.  Ian has fifteen years
experience in buying consultancy on behalf of consulting firms and has been
developing the material in this Workshop for eight of those.  Before joining
TCC, Ian was in retail banking.

TCC provides specialist senior consultants to support or lead programs with
global consulting firms and multinational corporations.   It is a niche
organisation, with 1,000 associate-consultants who all have deep technical
experience and know-how in their respective subject-matter fields.

One of TCC’s core capabilities – and part of the reason it attracts global
corporations as clients – is  quality-assurance across all processes and
activities.  Despite being a niche firm, it give clients absolute confidence that
their business service chain is compliant with legal, fiscal, environmental and
safety regulations and policies.   

Bill Young
Bill Young has thirteen years of experience in buying business services and
supporting international procurement projects.  He has eight years of
indpendent experience working on international projects with Novartis, Sandoz,
Amgen, National Grid, Good Energies, Mettler Toledo and Alpharma.  And he
facilitates international Procurement RoundTables for MarketFocus/CASME.  
Before becoming an independent consultant, his career in ICI, Zeneca and
Syngenta, also covered sales development, research targeting and product
management.
